In France, Orange is helping novices catch up and keep up with technology.

Their newly launched "Hello" package is an all-in-one multimedia IT solution: a preconfigured computer, an easy-to-operate welcome screen, efficient and simple Internet access and built-in software. The aim is to have a product for first-time Internet and computer users, such as senior citizens, that is easy to embrace and barrier-free.

The computer makes it easy to send and receive email, photos and videos, offers direct Internet access, includes photo download capabilities and integrates day-to-day organisational tools like a diary, calculator and document creation capabilities.
